I had the good fortune to attend the 2025 Pentaculum at Arrowmont School of Arts and Craft in Gatlinburg, TN. The annual event brings craft based artists from all over to work in the studios of Arrowmont for a week during the cold Tennessee winter. The piece evolved as I considered the local environment (mini-golf and chair lifts) and my family in light of the recent passing of my oldest brother, Michael. Rest in peace, Mike.
