“Googie with guts!” - Jared Stanley
Deep in the Covid-19 pandemic blues I bought the biggest hobbyist 3D-printer I could get. This machine was capable of printing 400 x 400 x 450 millimeters using the FDM process. I decided to take it for a test drive printing this pendant lamp (comprised of eight pieces) that I designed using a cooling tower motif. I wanted it to point in a lot of directions. I think it does. It’s a comically perverted mid-century modern design.
